CLAR (ICH) agrees to 4.14 Million Euro Novation with NWIC in Ireland
Nelson Spring, CLAR (ICH) and NWIC, a Caribbean insurer based in Nelson Spring, Nevis have agreed on a 4.14 Million euro renovation on the Mayfield Public Housing Development located in Claremorris, County Mayo, Ireland. NWIC had originally issued a performance bond to CLAR (ICH) on behalf of Cordil Construction of Galway who were forced into receivership in May on their bankers’ decision to withdraw their credit facilities just prior to staring the Mayfield project.
Upon the failure of Cordil, NWIC nominated Kilcawley Construction of Sligo to replace Cordil at an additional cost of approximately 650,000 euros which will be paid by NWIC. The Mayfield development at Claremorris will consist of a 36 unit residential housing complex and a community / day care centre. The project is scheduled to re-start immediately and is expected to be completed in December 2012 providing badly needed jobs to the County Mayo economy.

The air was filled with suspense as the Track and Field Olympic World Championship began. However, Saint Kitts famous Olympian, Usain Bolt, acted hastily at the 100-meter final at the World Championship. Bolt left the starting line before the race had begun. This cost him the title for this year's Olympic Games. Bolt knew his error as soon as he left the blocks. The IAAF changed the penalty rules against false starting in 2010. This rule removes any individual from the game in order to eliminate and cautions. Usian Bolt was dissappointed with his false start at the Track and Field Olympic Games. He states that he has to "Move on now, as there is no point to dwell on the past." His coach, Glen Mills, reminded everyone that he is a champion, and he will succeed at next year's race. Bolt has dominated the Olympic Games since 2008. He has held world titles in both the 100 and 200 meter run in Daegu. Bolt has also broken both records for running 9.58 in the 100 and 19.19 in the 200. Yohan Blake, took home the gold medal. Kim Collins, another team member from Saint Kitts, placed third in the Track and Field Olympic Games. With the drive and determination of Saint Kitts Athletes, these Olympians will come back even stronger for next year's game.
